finals
so this week is finals week at school. what a fun time right?? (: well this year i was pretty comfortable with the idea of finals. it is my third year of doing them and i am taking fairly easy classes so i thought all would just be a breeze. i aced spanish and the 2 choirs i am in. then no final in t.a. of course. today i had CP Chem. 2 and AP Language (: (i like to put the AP and CP in front cuz it makes the course sound as hard as it should be). so i wasn't too worried because i thought i had it all down, but i got to class and everything just felt like it left. Chem was first and it was a standardized test from the American Chemical Society (or something like that) i think i answered 50 questions or less out of 80. yeah ): lol. so i was pretty worried. then i went to AP Language and the teacher called me a moron twice. so if you knew this teacher you would know to not really take things personal, but after all the stress of previous final i had had it and i just got overwhelmed. but i cooled down and wrote a pretty great essay (i might jynx it by saying that). but anyways, then we had to do another little thing. after school i got my new schedule then went and chilled with friends. when i got home i checked my grades and guess what? i got a 92 % on my Chem. final (: (: (: yay! sorry i am just quite excited (: anyways tomorrow is just math and seminary and then i am done! it feels good. i think i learn this every year but i think it is important to not get worked up over little things. now finals are not a little thing. but i think first of all that once you say a prayer and do your best you can't do anything else...so might as well be happy! (: second, people, especially me, stress and overreact. it is important to just kinda chill, relax, and take some time to yourself. listen to music, eat something yummy~anything that makes you feel good. everybody just needs space and time to think and chill (: it feels great!!

1. I was born on the day of the L.A. riots
2. I used to have a pet duck named Jeepers- he was white and orange
3. My grandma ran over my dog Pepper when I was 3
4. My mom lied to me and told me we had to leave while the angels took her up to heaven- when in reality they shot her ):
5. Me friends and I caught ladybugs
6. Once I caught a ladybug that was black with red spots- way legit!!!
7. I also caught grasshoppers and ripped off their hind legs so they could not hop away.
8. My first crush was on a guy named Jordan Bloomquist- we used to sneak off and play in the empty town houses. Ooh…
9. I use to play dress up, makeovers, and Barbies- ALL THE TIME!
10. I was princess Lea for Halloween
11. I traded Pokemon cards at recess
12. When my Tangela card was stolen out of my backpack I cried to the principle.
13. I was terrified of the principle in kindergarten because I watched the movie Matilda…haven’t seen that movie since.
14. In kindergarten I was in purple group and got in trouble because I would talk to my crush Tim all the time (:

BOYS!!
haha (: wow! what to say? lol. so i was trying to decide what to write about today...and so i was thinking about what i have been doing lately. next week is the formal sadies for all the stakes in our church. goodness it is so stressful! first you have to decide who to ask so as to not make anyone feel awkward but still be able to enjoy yourself. then you have to decide how to ask them. then you have to be sure no one else is planning on asking that person. timing is key!! lol. so then once you ask someone you have to listen to everyone critique who you asked and all your "reasons" for asking someone. do people have a thing against just wanting to have fun!? lol. sorry i'm not explaining much, but i am just frustrated with girls who ask silly and very annoying questions. anyways along with that crap you have to deal with planning everything, around everyone else's schedule (: ha! now that is fun! (:
i've learned a lot from boys. i wish i could say something profound or legit like other people blog about when they talk about stuff like this but what i do know is that boys and girls are very different. the point and the most important thing is to be yourself!!! don't let other people's opinions affect what you think of yourself or anything you do. i want everyone to trust me on what i do. i always think about what i do. sometimes it just feels like people don't understand that i really do know what i am talking about or doing when i make a certain decision. i just kinda get annoyed when people feel like they need to judge or critique my goals. they are mine, for me, not them. that sounded mean, but i can make my own decisions for my own reasons, and no one else has to understand them. i just have to know it is right for me. i'm just trying to be more assertive and do what i know is right for ME (:

snow and comfy pjs
ug! there is so much snow. we went from a week of nothing. clear roads, decent weather, and sunshine to wet, cold, and dangerous roads. It kinda puts a damper especially for me because sat. the third was officially 6 months from the day i got my permit so i can officially get my driver's license now, but i am nervous to take my test in the snow...what if i fail??? anyways, because of all this cold weather i have been bundled up all the time. my wardrobe mostly includes sweaters, jeans, and warm socks. My favorite thing to wear tho is my choir sweats and my pjs (: they are comfy and warm, especially at night. Everyone in my house believes that the builders messed up my room because there seems to be no insulation. haha...it gets pretty chilly in the winter. but i will admit it is pretty great in the summer (: speaking of summer, i can't wait! all the warm weather, shorts, and sunshine!!! i love the warm weather!!! but for now i will just try to make the best of what we got. hopefully we will get a snow day tomorrow because of the tons of snow we got today! that would make my day (: (: (:

its 2009!!
HOLY COW!!! it is 2009. i know i should have realized this a couple days ago but it really hit me yesterday morning. 2009 means a lot. a ton of my friends are graduating this year ): i am so happy for them to go on and start a whole new life! it is so exciting. but these are the people that i have known all of my high school years and now they are kinda leaving me on my own to just be myself and survive (: haha. along with this fact came the realization that in a little over a year i will be on my own too. at college, in a dorm. I have so much to do to get ready! all these college tests, scholarships, learning to make my own decisions, and cooking (: lol. the last two i really need to work on. first of all i am so indecisive. it is crazy! second i can make like spaghetti and mac and cheese and all the easy stuff but i really need to work on that. today my dad taught me how to make chicken cordon blue. it was amazing, except when i burnt my arm, but i will get over that (: that is one of my favorite meals. we usually have it for my mom's b-day on new year's day, but we had prime rib instead. that was good too (: even tho i most likely won't be able to afford the stuff to make all those meals i definitely need to learn to cook better (: so addition to all this school stuff and leaving home there are so many things coming this year. first of all finals are NEXT WEEK! eek! i really should start doing hw. lol. that might help me. but hopefully they won't be too hard this year. i am nervous for college alg. and possibly AP English. for choir i should probably find my 2 songs i need too (: haha. so after finals there are like 3 weeks or so till All NW. i don't even have my music yet and that makes me a little bit anxious. i don't know if i have to learn any different languages or if i will even have a lot of time to practice, since as of right now i still am doing the school musical. ug! this is going to be a busy couple months. following All NW, i have piano festival. boy am i unbelievably stressed about that. i am trying to get the drive to do anything for that. i am getting a lot better, but on my concerto i still have a TON of work to go. then comes memorization. i will just have to set up time to practice (: then hopefully all will go well. then comes choir festival and tour! that will be a blast! a great way to end the year!!! it will be a blast because we are going to lagoon!!! yay! i love that place. and since i am no longer afraid of heights it is just great (: (: after that comes the graduation of all my friends leaving whether to college or missions (: it will be an insanely great thing for all of them!!! my friends are great people and i hope life is good to all of them (: during summer i plan on getting a job to get some extra cash!! then i start my senior year (: it will be kinda exciting to be top of the school. i remember being a little freshman in choir and no one knew my name i was just the freshman in camerata (: lol. it was funny! anyways, so now i am just going to go watch WALL-E. i just remembered yesterday that i have to analyze a movie for English. it could be really fun! (: guess i will see. sorry if that seemed emo. lol. just venting (:

good morning??
wow! so i am having the hardest time this break actually sleeping in. My little brother Logan has been kinda sick so he wakes up with my mom who was recently called to primary president (so she is stressed) around 6:30 or so. It is painful. once i am awake it is kinda hard to get back to sleep. so here i am at 7:15 blogging. haha. i guess i need to be up because we have a ward volleyball game this morning, but not this early. lol. our ward is new so we had to get new shirts. they picked yellow because that was one of the only colors not already taken. i am quite interested to see these shirts and how they turned out. i am also anxious to see how many people actually show up, like if we will have enough girls for a team. our ward is quite small in numbers of young women at least, and the ones we have are very young...i think this will be interesting but fun for sure because i am not very good at volleyball. in addition we are playing our ward that we split from. it will be fun to see everyone again. i even have the shirt from that ward. i should probably give that back to them. (:

blogging and candy cane kisses
Holy cow! i just spent 2 hours setting up this blog and looking for stuff for my friend! i feel so lazy. ha! and all i have eaten is candy cane hershey kisses. those are amazing btw and very addictive. To make up for my laziness tho, i am really proud of myself because i did over and hour of piano practice today before 9 am. that is really good for me (: i also cleaned my room. for breakfast i ate and amazing banana and nutella crepe. that was heavenly! ha...i've noticed all i talk about is food...oh well! tonight i plan on playing lots of games and having a great time (:

I AM BORED!
ha! so i am quite bored. today is my mom's b-day and i think i had the best cake i have had in my ENTIRE life. It was a chocolate extreme blizzard ice cream cake from Dairy Queen cuz it was their 1/2 price day. What a way to start off the new year!! lol. anyways, so i wish i could like hang out with my friends right now cuz last night was pretty great! i played spies and traded scarfs with my best friend. i need to do things like that more often. (: (:
