Today started off with a Zumba class for me. Then I went straight to the church orchard with the fam for some good ol' service. We worked for about an hour picking apricots. On our way out we stopped by the orchard office and purchased some cherries for $0.75/lb! woo! Those will be wonderful for tomorrow (International Cherry Pit Spitting Day) Then we went to Costco for some gas and groceries. After the shopping we did some normal routine chores and carting siblings from one job to another. Then we purchased the "Fried Chicken." We went with the chicken strips but they were still fried! So it totally counts! Throw in some rolls, potato wedges, potato chips, watermelon, cantaloupe, corn on the cob, BBQ sauce, and ice cold milk and we were set!
Nom nom nom.
What a great start! And...it only gets better from here on out.
Tomorrow's holidays are:
Chocolate Day
Father-Daughter Take a Walk Day
Tell the Truth Day
International Cherry Pit Spitting Day
